FAQs


Rates & Reservations:

Equipment rental rates are charged for the duration of "time out". Whether used or unused, the full rental rate will apply to all equipment that leaves our warehouse. We recommend reservations as far in advance as possible in order to guarantee product availability.


Delivery & Pick Up

At the time of the rental agreement, delivery and pick up arrangements will be made, and added to the contract with an applicable fee applied. Set up and delivery details, floor plans, must all be coordinated at the time of order with our office staff. It is not required that you be present at time of delivery, but it is advisable that someone be on site to confirm and check items received.


Changes or Cancellations:

All changes to order or cancellations must be submitted in writing 5 business days prior to scheduled delivery date. If notification takes place within that time frame there will be no penalty.

Note that preparations for shows and events take place well ahead of time of delivery, hence, any reductions or cancellations submitted within 2 - 4 business days of scheduled delivery date will incur a 25 % restocking fee (of total order value).

Cancelation or reductions received on date of delivery will be charged the full amount of order.


Payment:

Method of payment includes money order, certified cheque, wire transfers, debit card, credit card, or cash. Payments must be made in Canadian funds. All orders must have a valid credit card number on file for security against value of rented equipment.


Damages to Equipment:

Customers are responsible for all rental equipment from the time of delivery to the time of pick up. The equipment must be returned in the same condition as received. Any breakage, loss, or damage to equipment will be billed to client at replacement value. The damaged equipment remains the property of OPS Event Rentals at all times. A valid credit card will be required for security against the value of rented equipment at time of order.
